Glenthorne Conference

Being an Interfaith Pilgrim -

drawing on Hindu and Sikh experience

14-16 Nov 2008

Led by Eleanor Nesbitt who is part of a Hindu family, a professor in the University of Warwick and a member of Warwickshire Area Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends.  Apart from ‘Interfaith Pilgrims’ (her Swarthmore Lecture in 2003) her publications include ‘Sikhism: A Very Short Introduction’ (OUP) and ‘Inter-cultural Education’.

This weekend will be an opportunity, with fellow pilgrim Eleanor Nesbitt, to explore ways in which ‘other’ faiths can contribute to our own spiritual journeys, and to engage with the Hindu and Sikh faiths in particular.

Cost £102 (bookings to Glenthorne, Grasmere, 01539-435389)
